Semarang 3-seater sofa

This is a lovely Semarang 3-seater sofa which toured with us for the 2017 summer season on our show circuit, and has since been in our showroom. Due to a change of fabrics in the showroom, it is now available to some lucky household.

The cushions are the usual high-quality duck feather content with the covers in a gorgeous Vanessa Arbuthnott designer print called Origami – and the colour way is Duck-Egg/Forget-me-not. The sofa comes with two rectangular lumbar cushions made up in Harris Tweed.

The sofa itself, and its cushions are all in very good condition. A set of matching curtains in Vanessa Arbuthnott’s Momo Light Duck Egg/Forget-me-Not fabric are available (free of charge) to whoever buys the sofa.

The cushions are the usual high-quality duck feather content with the covers in a gorgeous mix and match. The sofa has cushions in plain Geneva Laurel (which is a cotton/linen blend washable at 40 degrees), while the chairs and footstool (and two lumbar cushions) are in Scala Jade from Romo’s Cubis collection. This second fabric is a beautifully soft-touch cotton/linen, and is machine washable at 30 degrees.

The set is in very good condition.

This is a lovely high-back Bantul sofa with accompanying side-table which has just completed the 2018 summer season on our show circuit.

The cushions are the usual high-quality duck feather content with Sefina Oyster fabric. This is a beautifully soft-touch cotton/linen, which is machine washable at 30 degrees.

The sofa and table are both in good condition, and the cushions are in very good shape indeed.

Jogya low-sided sofa (ex-display 2018)

This is the low-sided Jogya sofa, which formed part of our Jogya show display for the first half of the 2018 season, and was then moved to the showroom.

The cushions are the usual high-quality duck feather content with Mikado Red Coral cushions. The fabric is a brushed cotton/linen (lovely to the touch) and machine washable at 30 degrees. There are two lumbar cushions (as shown in photo) included n the price – these are in Linara Red Coral.

The set is in very good condition.

Priced at £850 down from the normal price of £1500. This price includes delivery to mainland England and Wales.

The main material used is rattan. The sofa skeleton is made from a structure of rattan poles, while the wickerwork uses fine peeled rattan. The wooden elements are made using FSC-certified acacia (for seat-frames) and mahogany (for shelves and table tops). Feather cushions are added here in the UK for luxury and comfort. The seat cushions feature a feather down and foam sandwich to make them more supportive.

Jepara hexagonal chair (ex-display)

This hexagonal Jepara chair makes a useful occasional or extra chair. The 135 degree angle of the back two panels is particularly suited to the windows of Victorian conservatories!

The cushions are the usual high-quality duck feather content, with additional foam on the seats for extra support and resilience. The fabric is Geneva Nougat, a hard wearing  cotton/linen blend, washable at 40 degrees.

The cushions are in very good condition; the chair has suffered some abrasion on the corners of the arms, but this is being remediated as far as possible.

This is a very nice Kartosuro set which formed part of our show display for the first half of the season, which was then put on display in our showroom in Salisbury. We are now looking for a good home for the 6 pieces. The set comprises:

Kartosuro two-seater sofa,

Two Kartosuro chairs,

plus sidetable, footstool, and a coffee table with wooden top.

The cushions are the usual high-quality duck feather content; the fabric on the sofa and footstool is Lorcan Denim (washable at 30 degrees) while the chairs feature a matching plain duck-egg blue (Linara). A set of matching curtains in Sefina Duck-Egg (see photos) are available (free of charge) to whoever buys the set.

The set is generally in very good condition; there is some abrasion to the sofa and chairs where they have been taken in and out of our van. But overall this is a very good buy!

Semarang Dining – 6 seater set (ex-display)

This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of our new dining sets for a very good price indeed. This 6-chair dining set is the original prototype set which we have been using on display since the middle of 2017. The set comes with 6 seat pads in Geneva Wasabi, and the glass top is being replaced (so will be brand new) since the display glass has taken a knock in transit and has a chip on one corner.

The set features the unique chair design created by our Swedish designer Tord Kjellstrom with a cunning side panel on each of the four side chairs. This allows the sitter to relax and turn to their neighbour whilst still having support: very comfy and very sociable!

The chairs combines a strong but stylish frame made in mindi wood with beautiful hand-woven seagrass panels. These panels display the superb weaving skills of our Indonesian producers. Seat pads make the chairs even more comfortable.

The tables themselves combine a wooden (mindi) frame, with a toughened glass top which sits above a woven panel of seagrass – creating a pleasing semi-transparent effect.

Priced to reflect the usage that the table has had over the last 15 months: £1500 (compared to brochure price of £3525, so a saving of over £2000) which includes delivery and assembly in mainland England and Wales.

Semarang Companion Chair – ex-display 1

This is a rare opportunity to purchase a Semarang companion chair in a stunning Vanessa Arbuthnott fabric at roughly half the normal price.

The chair has a low-backed design and works either as a stand-alone chair or combines beautifully with our flagship asymmetrical Semarang chairs.

The chair legs and seat frame are made from a local Indonesian wood called Mindi. All the panels are woven in seagrass onto mindi frames. Luxurious duck feather cushions for superb comfort. The seat cushion features a feather down and foam sandwich to make it more supportive.

The cushions have been used at some of the shows we and our partner MGB have attended in 2017 and 2018, and since then have been on display in our showroom in Salisbury. The fabric on these cushions is Vanessa Arbuthnott’s Ticking in colourway Kale. There is a mark on one side of the cushions which should be removable by dry cleaning. The chair itself is in good condition.

The fabric on these cushions is Vanessa Arbuthnott’s Shibori pattern in Sweet-Pea and Tangerine. The chair itself is brand new but is graded as second quality because one of the back legs is unusually pale, and the seagrass on the rear panel has a section that is darker than the rest of the chair.
