Using your cover
Outdoor furniture will naturally weather over time. Using a suitable cover is an important part of its care:
- Allow the furniture to dry before covering it.
- Check covered furniture periodically so that air can circulate and moisture does not become trapped.
- Remove cushions and store them somewhere clean, dry and ventilated over winter and during extended periods of non-use or wet weather.
A furniture cover is not a substitute for dry cushion storage. Although our outdoor cushions have weather-resistant fabric and waterproof liners to provide protection from changeable weather, they should not be left outside permanently, even beneath a cover.
Covers help reduce exposure; they do not prevent all natural weathering or protect against flooding, storms or extreme weather.
