Here are some photos from our recent visit to RHS Tatton Park, where we displayed our full range of feel good fair trade conservatory furniture for people to see and try.
Fairtrade Furniture were proud to have some of our pieces featured at Camp Kerala, a luxury camping spot just outside of Pilton, location for a certain globally famous festival. Our furniture was selected for it’s luxury comfort, providing the perfect relaxing spot for Camp Kerala guests to gaze out over the G- festival. Continue reading
This was the Devon County Show a few weeks back. Glorious weather, smiling faces, loads of visitors, lots of oohing and aahing over our chairs. All-in-all a classic feel-good show for our feelgood furniture!
One of our key Indonesian partners, Deddy Herianto of Inori, has been off on his travels recently.Wearing his other hat as a consultant in livelihoods for various NGOs working in the South East Asia region, he travelled for over 24hrs to the remote area of Wamena in Papua.
The Fair Trade Furniture van gets to some pretty exotic and interesting places. This was one of the more fascinating locations. Down on the Quayside in Exeter, our partner Chandni Chowk has created a wonderful retail space in this elegant 17th century building called the Custom House. Continue reading
Rachel and I recently visited the RHS show at Cardiff, and we had an excellent day out. It was a bit of a busman’s holiday, but nice to be off duty for once! The floral marquees were fabulous (see tulips above), and we are very much looking forward to being at the Malvern Spring Flower Show later this week (Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th May). Do come and visit us if you possibly can; it’s a great show, in a lovely part of the world.

Keen followers of Hugh’s News will have noticed the plight of our quails in the last newsletter (snowbound in Salisbury!). Well I am very pleased to report that conditions have improved markedly in our garden, and there was even some early spring colour to enjoy at the weekend. Now that did feel good! Continue reading
